What They're Looking For.
Must Have
US or Australian citizen, minimum of five years of experience working with fire protection equipment and systems, NICET II or NICET III, qualifications in accordance with US DoD Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), or Australian equivalent acceptable to the USG, Secret clearance
Nice to Have
BAS from an accredited institution, Ability to obtain a TS/SCI w/Poly or Australian PV clearance
What You'll Do.
and inspect smoke and fire suppression systems
test and repair fire alarm wiring
and need for adjustment or repair
repair or replace smoke/heat detectors and sprinkler heads
Repair and test wet/dry test fire alarm system devices
Ensure work is in accordance with relevant codes
and apply system design plans and drawings
Perform true test smoke detector sensitivity procedure
Perform routine maintenance on equipment
Determine maintenance requirements
Perform all other duties as assigned
