What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High school diploma or equivalent, Certificate or diploma in a related field (Fire & Life Safety, Electrical/Electronic; Security), Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Project), Ability to create Excel spreadsheets, reference data in other spreadsheets, and create macros is required, Available for frequent local travel
Nice to Have
Certification in Fire Alarm Systems preferred, 5 years’ installation experience in Fire, Electrical, or Security systems, Project management experience
What You'll Do.
Lead complex fire alarm
and communications installation projects
Setup of local project offices
Project scope definition
and customer expectations/satisfaction
Present to management and/or customers on project updates
Ensure projects are closed on time and in scope
Coordinate and communicate project progression from inception to completion including design
and field installation
Develop a comprehensive project plan to meet schedules and budgets
Conduct Work in Progress meetings
Understand and follow all published codes
and unique project specifications
Ensure AHJ requirements and departmental/SOX procedures are followed
Coordinate change orders
Work toward overall margin improvement on every job
