**Title:** Fire Engineering – Consultant **Title:** Fire Engineering – Consultant **Salary range:** £55,000 to £70,000 per annum open to discussion DOE **Location:** Any UK FNC Office **Working Pattern:** We operate a flexible hybrid working pattern at Frazer-Nash, with time split between the office, client sites and working from home **Closing date Friday 26th June 2026, but early application encouraged.** We are searching for self-starting consultants with fire engineering experience, previous work in high risk industries would be advantageous. You will join a team of experienced engineering consultants who specialise in a broad range of safety disciplines. This role will provide opportunities to work in sectors such as nuclear, defence, aerospace and new markets relating to clean energy systems and renewables (e.g. hydrogen, and lithium-ion battery energy storage). If you are interested in the prospects of working on high profile infrastructure projects in nuclear and in other sectors, please apply. **Key Responsibilities:** * Provide a high-quality fire engineering service to our clients. * Interact directly with a variety of clients across several highly regulated sectors (e.g. nuclear energy, defence, rail). * Plan and deliver work in an organised way, including attending client sites across the UK where required. * Carry out technical work in many areas of fire engineering e.g. fire strategies, fire testing, fire system design, fire safety case. * Project manage a variety of projects with accountability for resource and budgets. * Contribute to business development and manage enquiries with both new and existing clients. **Requirements:** Successful applicants will meet the following minimum requirements: * Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in a science, engineering or maths subject (or equivalent). * Extensive fire engineering experience (desired in high-hazard or highly regulated industries e.g. nuclear, petrochemicals, defence). * Experience producing f
