On-call rotation, On call and after-hours work required on occasion, Physical labor, Carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs, Climbing ladders, Scaffolding, High lift equipment up to 40 feet, Working within ducts, Crawl spaces, Above ceilings, Flexible hours including weekends, Overnight travel may be required sometimes, Maintain truck inventory, Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures, Possess a valid driver’s license, Driving record that meets company requirements, Retain any licenses required by National, State and Local codes
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years documented experience in low voltage electrical systems, Fire/Life Safety systems, Access Control, Nurse Call, Paging systems, Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, submittts, operational/product manuals, Knowledge of test equipment, multi-meter, digital analyzer, commissioning devices, Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs, Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult position such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc, Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements, Overnight travel may be required sometimes, Demonstrate a high level of customer service, Maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs, Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times, organizational skills, positive attitude, an ability to learn quickly, Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements, Retain any licenses that are required by National, State and Local codes

Receive service calls
Contact customer representative
Perform service and repairs on electronic fire alarm systems
Repair other related building system products
Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures
Refer to technical manuals
Service fire alarm systems
Troubleshoot fire alarm systems
Install fire alarm systems
Service life safety systems
Troubleshoot life safety systems
Install life safety systems
Interpret specifications software/systems
Interpret operational product manuals
Complete Service Acknowledgements
Obtain customer signature
Participate in On-call rotation
Train others on service team
Mentor others on service team
Provide highest level of service
Solve building inefficiencies
Resolve service-related items
Provide solutions and outcomes
Perform other duties as assigned
Trouble shooting installed systems
Repairing installed systems
Panel repair/reprogram
Device replacement/repair
Resolving low voltage circuit troubles
Organize and utilize technical resources
Assure efficient execution of tasks
Complete and submit documentation
Provide recommendations and solutions
Ensure facility is running efficiently
Provide quotes to support recommendations
