What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Proven experience working with fire detection and fire alarm systems, Experience within a service-focused business, Good understanding of gas suppression systems and their maintenance, Technical knowledge of fire legislation, standards, and associated field devices, Integrity testing experience (or willingness to train), Excellent communication and customer service skills, IT literacy, Full UK driving licence, Ability to work independently and as part of a team, Willingness to travel for training, Ability to participate in the out-of-hours callout rota, Ability to pass enhanced security vetting
Nice to Have
Experience coaching or developing others, Experience working on high-hazard or critical-infrastructure sites

Service fire detection systems
Maintain fire alarm systems
Fault-find fire alarm systems
Receive training gas suppression
Receive training mechanical suppression
Carry out integrity testing
Complete service documentation
Obtain permits to work
Ensure compliance site procedures
Attend mandatory training
Maintain required certifications
Support mechanical fire protection
Support passive fire protection
Participate on-call rota
Identify safety concerns
Escalate safety concerns
Report safety concerns
Conform QEHS regulations
Contribute zero-harm workplace
Adhere PPE requirements
Participate toolbox talks
Participate van audits
Participate accident investigations
Take part internal audits
Take part continuous improvement
