Must Have
High School Diploma or equivalent, Pass criminal background check, Clean driving record
Nice to Have
ASTTBC certification, Experience in Fire and/or Life Safety Systems, Experience reading blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, programs schematics and operational/product manuals, Experience with hand tools and multi-meter usage, Aptitude for troubleshooting systems and performing necessary repairs, Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, Proficiency with PCs including MS Excel / Word, Proficiency with iPhone apps, Capable of performing physical labour, Able to work in unusual and difficult positions, Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, Demonstrate a high level of customer service, Ability to adhere to safety guidelines and procedures, Organizational skills, Ability to learn quickly, Possess a valid driver’s license
What You'll Do.
Conduct routine inspections
Perform preventative maintenance on life safety product lines
Work with low voltage wiring and associated devices
Complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding
Follow and maintain a highly structured inspection schedule
retrieve and archive inspection documents
Make repairs with minimal supervision
Provide technical training to other inspectors and trainees
Complete assigned inspections on time
Perform other duties as assigned
