Analyze and respond to complex information requests; Perform risk assessments; Escalate complex or high-risk cases
Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, and public holidays as needed, Residency status in Estonia (we are not providing visa or relocation support for applicants at this time.)
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
1+ years of experience in operations, legal ops, financial crime reviews, or a related field (ideally handling information requests or legal orders), Excellent written and verbal English skills to draft precise reports and communicate with authorities, A solid foundational understanding of financial crime regulations, data protection principles (GDPR), and legal disclosure frameworks, Proficiency with Google Workspace / MS Office, with the ability to filter, format, and work with data sets, High Attention to Detail: A proven track record of maintaining top-tier quality, accuracy, and meticulous documentation, even under high workloads or when handling routine tasks, Ability to multitask, prioritize efficiently, and make sound decisions independently within established procedures, A proactive, self-driven attitude with a passion for learning and developing in the FinCrime domain, Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, and public holidays as needed
Nice to Have
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Criminal Justice, Finance, Business Administration, International Relations, or a related field, Industry credentials such as CAMS, ICA, CFE, or equivalent (focused on AML, FinCrime compliance, or investigations), Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools, especially Looker, Additional languages are a plus
What You'll Do.
Facilitating the secure and compliant exchange of information about our customers and their use of our platform
and documenting data to ensure timely and seamless information flow between Wise and different regulatory or law enforcement agencies
and deliver high-quality
and legally compliant responses to Law Enforcement agencies
ensuring strict confidentiality and data privacy (GDPR)
Identify financial crime patterns
perform risk assessments
and smoothly escalate complex or high-risk cases to internal teams
or senior management with detailed documentation
Maintain bulletproof audit trails
and clear rationales for all decisions to withstand both internal and external scrutiny
Proactively spot inefficiencies
and suggest actionable improvements to our tools and workflows
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Act as a professional point of contact for external authorities and internal cross-functional teams (Fraud, AML, Legal), ensuring clear, efficient, and timely collaboration
Communication Scope
Excellent written and verbal English skills to draft precise reports and communicate with authorities
