Full Job Description
## Accountabilities Accurately allocate cash receipts to open balances while ensuring precision in financial records and reconciliation processes. Perform credit control activities for reinsurance receivables and payables, including account reconciliation and balance validation. Manage financial settlements with clients in accordance with contractual terms, ensuring timely and accurate cash flow execution. Collaborate with underwriting, claims, finance teams, and external clients to resolve discrepancies, missing data, and transactional issues. Work effectively with offshore teams to ensure alignment, consistency, and timely completion of accounting processes. Support ad-hoc financial, technical accounting, and operational projects as assigned to meet business needs. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance, reinsurance operations, or finance/accounting roles. Strong understanding of insurance or reinsurance contract language and financial terms. Experience with cash allocation, credit control, or reconciliation processes strongly preferred. Proficiency in Excel and ability to work across multiple systems and datasets simultaneously. Familiarity with accounting systems such as Great Plains or Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) preferred. Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple deadlines, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
