What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree plus 12 years of relevant experience OR 16 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree, Proven experience (typically 5+ years) owning or managing financial systems or ERP/platforms in a business environment, understanding of core financial processes (GL, AR, AP, fixed assets, reconciliations), their related internal controls, and how they map to systems, Familiarity with integrations, data modeling, and querying (e. g. , SQL) or the ability to effectively partner with technical teams for these tasks, Demonstrated ability to translate finance requirements into system configurations and technical solutions, lead testing and deployment, and drive business change and adoption
Nice to Have
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, Experience with major financial/ERP systems (for example, Oracle Cloud, PeopleSoft, Workday Financials, SAP or similar SaaS platforms), Experience with Costpoint is a plus, Certifications such as PMP, CBAP, or finance/ERP related certifications, or an advanced degree, Experience with cloud platforms, automation tools, and BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc. ), Background working in large, matrixed organizations and managing vendor relationships or managed services
