What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field of study, Minimum of 2+ years of related accounting or financial reporting, Advanced application and knowledge in MS Office such as Excel, Word, and Powerpoint, Must be able to work in a collaborative, team environment, Demonstrate sound judgment, critical analysis, and initiative in a fast paced, client-oriented environment, Demonstrate initiative and ability to suggest improvements and subsequent implementation
Nice to Have
experience from public accounting or US public filers, Working knowledge in Workiva, Workday, and IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools, SQL, Python, or similar languages
What You'll Do.
Collect information for SEC filings
Prepare quarterly and annual reports
Maintain annual statutory filings
Review financial reporting requirements
Implement new accounting pronouncements
Assist with special projects
Support process improvement and automation
Prepare quarterly related party procedures
Assist with monthly reporting packages
Liaise with external auditors
