What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3+ years of billing experience, Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Accounting, Excel skills (V-LOOKUP, pivot tables), Experience with journal entries and account reconciliations, Experience working in multiple currencies, and understanding of foreign exchange rates, Understanding and application of GAAP principles, Having worked with well known sales and customer procurement systems (SalesForce, Coupa, Ariba etc.)
Nice to Have
Experience at SaaS companies preferred, Workday experience a plus
What You'll Do.
Support Order Management activities
including reviewing contracts and purchase orders to ensure compliance with our Booking Policies
and accuracy in our financial systems.
Conduct final reviews of deals to ensure the completeness and accuracy of opportunities.
Validating and updating Salesforce (SFDC) quote and order data against all contractual agreements
purchase orders (POs)
and other supporting documentation.
Partner with the sales and legal teams to understand the deal terms and ensure conformance with the company’s policies and process guidelines.
Ensure accurate deal metrics are reported to help the company understand performance.
Work with business users and cross-functional teams to identify problems
and assist in ongoing process improvements related to order processing
and collections workflows.
Ensure that deals are marked as 'closed-won' in SFDC and are ready for syncing to the Workday revenue tool
promptly resolving any related issues to enable invoicing in accordance with company policy.
Support the invoicing and collections lifecycle across U. S. and international customers — ensuring accuracy
Act as a point of contact for customer and internal billing inquiries
maintaining a high standard of service and communication.
Support daily payment posting and cash application.
Prepare and reconcile trial balance accounts and post related journal entries during monthly close.
Assist in executing an efficient and accurate monthly and quarterly financial close and reporting process.
