**About the role** Our Financial Crime Prevention (FCP) organisation is seeking a Sanctions Specialist to join our Sanctions & Transaction Monitoring team. You will become part of a highly specialised team responsible for ensuring the Group’s adherence to global sanctions regulations, handling L2 alerts, and supporting FIU reporting. The team is based in our Hellerup office, where you will work alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment. In this role, you will handle sanctions-related inquiries, assess escalated alerts, and take on a variety of tasks aligned with your experience, interests, and professional development goals. You will join a dedicated FCP organisation committed to combating financial crime globally, playing a key role in protecting the integrity of financial markets and making a meaningful impact across all the countries in which we operate. This is a **temporary position ending on 31 January 2027** , with the possibility of becoming permanent upon mutual agreement, based on performance and business needs. **Responsibilities** * Develop, review, and maintain clear, structured documentation on sanctions compliance, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations * Ensure the correct and timely implementation of sanctions requirements across systems, processes, and internal controls * Provide input and configuration requirements for sanctions screening solutions related to clients, transactions, and other relevant areas * Handle ongoing operational tasks, including escalated sanctions alerts, case handling, and responses to advisory inquiries * Support continuous improvement of sanctions processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and risk mitigation * Collaborate with internal stakeholders across compliance, operations, and technology to ensure effective implementation of sanctions controls **Your profile** The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience working with sanctions compliance in
