### Financial Controller (Remote Contractor) ### The Opportunity WPT Global is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to support the finance operations of a fast-growing international online business. This is a fully remote contractor opportunity suited to a commercially minded finance professional with strong international experience and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. **Requirements** ### Key Responsibilities * Oversee financial reporting, accounting operations, budgeting, and forecasting activities * Develop and improve financial controls, reporting processes, and operational procedures * Support strategic financial planning and performance analysis * Prepare monthly management reporting and financial insights for senior stakeholders * Monitor financial and operational risks and recommend appropriate controls * Coordinate external audits and liaise with external accounting and advisory partners * Support KPI reporting, cash flow forecasting, and business performance tracking * Ensure compliance with applicable financial standards and internal governance requirements * Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across international teams ### Requirements * Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline * Proven experience operating in a senior finance, controllership, or financial leadership role * Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management * Experience improving finance processes, controls, and operational reporting * Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving capabilities * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills * Advanced proficiency with accounting systems, spreadsheets, and financial analysis tools * Professional qualification such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent is advantageous ### Preferred Experience * Experience working within fast-paced international businesses * Experience supporting remote or distributed global teams * Exposure to digit
