Listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX: FLN), we are seeking a high-calibre and motivated Financial Controller to join our team. This is a pivotal role for a technical finance expert who can manage the engine room of a complex, multi-currency global group. ### **Role Overview** Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Financial Controller will be responsible for the integrity of the Group’s financial reporting, global internal controls, and statutory compliance. You will lead a high-performing finance team, ensuring that our global operations - spanning multiple jurisdictions and products - run with precision and efficiency. You are a "hands-on" leader who balances technical accounting excellence, team development, and a drive for process automation. ### **Key Responsibilities** * **Global Financial Reporting:** Lead the month-end, half-year, and year-end closing processes. Ensure accurate consolidation of multi-currency subsidiaries across the Group (Freelancer, Escrow, and Loadshift). * **ASX & Statutory Compliance:** Prepare high-quality statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS/AASB. Ensure timely delivery of all regulatory filings. * **Internal Controls & Audit:** Own the global audit process. Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors and maintain a robust internal control environment to mitigate risk across our fintech and marketplace platforms. * **Tax Management:** Manage global tax compliance, including GST/VAT, corporate income tax, and R&D tax incentive claims across international jurisdictions. * **Operational Excellence:** Constantly refine and automate financial systems and workflows. *
