By joining us you become part of a global family, whose ambition is to become the world’s preferred destination for convenience and fuel. **Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia** is looking for: # **Financial Controller** **Type of Employment** : Permanent **Location** : Riga, Latvia **Visa requirements** : A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided) **WHAT YOU 'LL DO ** * Gain a solid understanding of the company’s ERP system and accounting policies; * Ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial information in line with internal policies and agreed deadlines; * Maintain accurate and timely execution of month end, quarter end, and year end closing processes; * Secure the correctness and completeness of station P&L and drive corrective actions when necessary (accruals, adjustments, reclassifications, allocations, etc.); * Participate in finance projects and contribute ideas for process optimization and improvements; * Develop and maintain process documentation. **WHAT YOU 'LL NEED** * Degree in Economics or Finance field; * 3+ years of experience in accounting or auditing, preferably in an international work environment; * Experience in retail accounting and working with retail management systems; * Experience with general ledger functions, month-end closing, and financial reporting processes; * Experience driving process improvement initiatives; * Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel, and a solid understanding of accounting systems; * Strong analytical and accounting skills; * Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills; * A self driven and proactive mindset, with a strong focus on continuous improvement, high quality deliverables, and meeting deadlines; * Prec
