ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified accountant, Qualification gained within Big 4 or Top 10 audit firm, Experience leading month-end close processes, Experience managing financial control activities, Experience managing and developing team members, Understanding of bank reconciliations, Understanding of accruals, Understanding of prepayments, Understanding of fixed assets, Understanding of intangibles, Understanding of wider balance sheet controls

Own bank account reconciliations
Investigate and resolve reconciliation items
Maintain robust controls
Review and challenge reconciliations
Lead month-end close activities
Prepare month-end review packs
Produce monthly Trial Balance
Produce monthly Balance Sheet reporting
Produce monthly Profit & Loss reporting
Drive continuous improvement
Identify automation opportunities
Support integration of new ledger accounts
