Full Job Description
## Accountabilities Provide high-quality customer service to patients by following structured benefit verification processes and ensuring accurate financial communication. Verify insurance eligibility, assign correct insurance plans, and document findings accurately within healthcare systems and workflows. Calculate patient financial responsibility and attempt timely collection of cost share or liabilities prior to date of service. Ensure accurate selection of medical records and appropriate scheduling based on physician orders and clinical guidelines. Maintain detailed and compliant documentation across health information systems and workflow platforms. Communicate effectively with hospital teams, gatekeepers, and internal stakeholders to ensure coordination of patient financial clearance. Meet or exceed performance expectations related to quality, productivity, and call scoring standards within established timelines. Support adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and compliance requirements while maintaining patient confidentiality. Requirements: 2+ years of experience in a call center environment, preferably with collections or healthcare billing exposure. Associate’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Strong knowledge of insurance verification, medical billing, or healthcare revenue cycle processes is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused, empathetic, and professional approach. Ability to work in a high-volume, performance-driven environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Proficiency in computer systems, multiple applications, and MS Office tools; typing speed of approximately 45 WPM.
