Must Have
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Accounting, finance, business administration, economics, statistics or related field, 1 year of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or related work
Nice to Have
Master's Degree Business or Finance, 2 plus years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or related work, LIC-Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - STATE_MI State of Michigan
What You'll Do.
Performs month-end close accounting responsibilities focusing on the Medical Group and specific service lines.
Prepare monthly and trend reports for tracking financial and operational metrics.
Support team of Senior Analysts with reporting
Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
Identify and drive improvements
utilizing standard and ad-hoc reports
perform variance analysis
and make recommendations for improvements
Serves as a consultant to assigned areas of the organization to support the financial goals and objectives of Corewell Health.
