Public Accountant or Bachelor in Business Administration, 3-5 years experience in similar position, 3-5 years experience in Budgeting/Forecasting and variance analysis, 3+ years experience in payroll compliance and supervision, Knowledge in labor and tax law, Handles MRP/ERP systems, Fluent in English (B1-C1 or higher), Proficient in Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Analyze main financial variances
Supervise social security and payroll process
Act as Controller/Finance Manager backup
Prepare annual budget
Prepare monthly forecast
Analyze weekly forecast vs actuals
Update daily forecast vs actuals
Analyze monthly and quarterly expense variances
Review and validate cost reductions
Review and validate CAPEX exhibits
Perform month end close
Perform balance sheet reconciliations
Support internal control development
Perform internal control samples
Lead department record retention
Set up vendors in Oracle
Administer vendor contracts
Prepare annual accrual for compensation/termination/seniority
Support Human Resources with wage increase analysis
Approve vendor payments
Prepare monthly dashboards/KPIs
Review special employee payouts
Check annual payroll calculations
Review monthly payroll accruals
Review accident risk premium
Prepare manpower reports
Perform petty cash monthly audit
Support internal audits
Support external audits

Under the supervision of the Plant Controller/Finance Manager, analyzes the main financial variances (inventory, cycle counts, Budget/plan vs actuals, Monthly FCST vs Budget, vs Actuals. It is the oficial backup for the Controller/Finance Manager, and is responsible for the general supervision of the social security and payroll process at BU level for the Mexican legal entity (includes two business units). **Responsibilities:** · Acting Controller/Finance Manager and General supervision of the Finance Department when Controller/Finance Manager is out. · Annual Budget preparation with Plant Staff · Monthly Forecast preparation with Plant Staff · Weekly Forecast vs Actuals Analysis and presentation · Daily Update in Forecast vs Actuals in Key Expense Accounts · Monthly and Quarterly Expense variance analysis Budget vs Actual, PE vs Actual, and YOY comparisons · Reviews and validates Cost Reductions in progress and proposed. · Reviews and validated CAPEX exhibits and uptodate expense. · Month End Close, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations of specific accounts. · Supports Controll
