Full Job Description
**Financial Analyst** **Position Summary:** * **Full-time salaried position** * **Onsite based out of our Manassas, VA location** The Financial Analyst is to proactively participate in the Finance Department’s daily production review and analysis of all costs for the manufacturing site, directly reporting to the Senior Manager Finance. Catalent Wellness Virginia is a rapidly growing manufacturer of dietary supplements in a soft chew format. **The Role:** * Lead and monitor the Work Order closure process * Perform all cost accounting responsibilities for month-end close * Review and entry of daily production and consumption records * Perform finance verification of monthly raw material, WIP, and finished good inventory cycle counts. Audit and maintain the cycle count documentation from all cycle counts, ensuring its accuracy and completeness. Ensure the site maintains compliance with counting frequency and completeness requirements * Monitor inventory and facilitates the paperwork approval, tracking, and filing process to maintain accuracy * Analyze data for discrepancies in manufactured product costs, by reviewing the manufacturing variances and identifying any discrepancies in routings or bills of materials * Perform roll of standard costs and ensure all active Raw Materials and Intermediate items have accurate standard costs * Ensure integrity of standard costs and item attributes that impact costing or standard accounting flows * Other duties as assigned **The Candidate:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field of study, required * Minimum three years of experience in Cost Accounting or Manufacturing, required * Advanced proficiency with various ERP systems, Sage or JDE, preferred * Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds **Why You Should Join Catalent:** * Defined career path and annual performance review and feedback process * 152 hours of PTO + 8 paid holidays * Several Employee Resource Groups f
