Must Have
5+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles, understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting, Experience managing GL, AP, AR, and month-end close processes
Nice to Have
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, Accounting designation, Knowledge of revenue recognition and deferred revenue accounting is highly desirable, Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
What You'll Do.
managing accounting and financial operations across assigned operating companies
oversee general ledger activities
accounts payable (AP)
accounts receivable (AR)
and revenue processes
support financial reporting
and variance analysis
Own and support month-end close processes
Verify the accuracy of transactions recorded in the general ledger
oversee monthly cash books
and invoice processing
Develop and maintain accounts receivable (AR) billing schedules
Prepare and reconcile deferred revenue schedules
including maintaining waterfall structures
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Conduct monthly reconciliation of intercompany transactions
Post payroll entries and manage statutory payments
Coordinate with the Tax team to support monthly sales tax filings
Manage day-to-day accounting activities
Prepare Profit & Loss (P&L) reports and provide detailed variance analysis
Generate revenue reports and provide commentary on month-over-month and quarter-over-quarter variances
and other critical month-end adjustments
Support internal audits and controllership reviews
Continuously review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
recommending process improvements
