What You'll Do.
Performs complex accounting work to include recording
and analyzing of financial records
documents or reports.
Prepares financial statements
Audits accounting and financial documents for accuracy and completeness.
Reviews daily cash flow activity and prepares accounting entries for processing in the accounting systems.
and balances financial and accounting documents and records.
Performs daily and monthly reconciliations of credit card clearing accounts and general ledger (GL) accounts to ensure accurate accounting.
Identifies financial discrepancies and informs management.
Forecasts expenditures
Serves as a resource in solving accounting or financial problems.
Assists in making recommendations for improvements
or revisions to the accounting system
policies and procedures.
Identifies financial discrepancies and budget shortfalls and informs management
Maintains systems and controls necessary to provide accurate accounts of expenditures and budget balances.
Assists with the preparation of the Annual Financial Report.
Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
