We are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to join our finance team on a 6-month interim basis to support year-end audit and reporting. This role is critical in ensuring a smooth and timely close process and will suit someone with a strong technical accounting background and hands-on experience in audit preparation. The right candidate can start the role immediately. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support year-end audit preparation, including compiling audit schedules and liaising with external auditors Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards Assist with balance sheet reviews and variance analysis Provide support across finance operations and contribute to process improvements Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure audit readiness Requirements: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with solid post-qualification experience Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience in audit preparation (practice or industry) Proficiency in NetSuite is essential Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and stakeholder management skills What We Offer: A collaborative and dynamic finance team Exposure to year-end audit and reporting processes Competitive daily rate Hybrid working options available This is a great opportunity for a seasoned accountant to make an impact during a key financial period.
