**Position : Financial Accountant**[](https://sabeto.co.nz/) **Salary : 2,300 - 2,700 NZD** **Working Hours & Conditions : 8:00 AM 5:00 PM NZST** **ABOUT THE COMPANY: ** The company was established in September 2008. Started with one freight truck, in within couple of months, demand prompted additional freight trucks. Now the company focuses into its core business which is roading / construction work. The Company does sub-contracting work to the big 4 roading contractors in Auckland. Plant and machinery include tipper trucks (4 wheeler, 6 wheelers, 8 wheeler and Artic), bobcats with attachments that include (sweeper, 4 in1 bucket, and planner), digger hire and freight truck hire. **OVERVIEW:** Manage and maintain an organizations financial records by recording, analysing and reporting financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting regulations, ultimately providing key insights into the company’s financial health to inform decision making by stakeholders. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** **ACCOUNTING** · Overseeing and managing all of the accounting functions across the group of companies · Supporting the Accounts Assistant role in ensuring accurate processing of accounts receivable and accounts payable including processing of inter-company charges and accurate on-charging of amounts to customers in a timely manner, completing of daily bank reconciliations · Having responsibility of all accounting journals and adjustments required for accurate financial reporting including keeping all subsidiary accounts fully reconciled. · Providing Month End Financial Reports to Management in a timely manner. · Having responsibility for GST, PAYE returns filing. · Having responsibility for inter-company transactions reconciliations. · Maintain organised and accurate financial documentation. · Having responsibility for Quarterly Bank Covenant Reporting with business performance commentary · Providing Costing and Variance Analysis **FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT** · Prepare and
