About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated financial accountant for a 9 months assignment to join our dynamic finance team in Rotork, Mexico. This role will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy of our financial records and the effectiveness of our internal control environment. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical accounting skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Key Responsibilities: * Internal Controls: * Maintain and improve the internal control procedures * Document procedures to ensure those are reflected into manual processes and new ERP D365 * Collaborate with various departments to remediate control deficiencies. * Accounts Receivable: * Manage the collections process, including following up with the client a weekly receivables report * Monitor customer accounts, ensuring timely payments and resolving discrepancies. * Generate aging reports and analyze outstanding receivables. * General Accounting: * Support quarterly, month-end and year-end closing processes. * Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations. * Assist with the preparation of financial data to provide insightful reports to management. * Ensure compliance with Mexican accounting standards and regulations. * Other: * Support the Financial Controller with ad-hoc projects and analysis. ## Qualifications Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. * 3+ years of progressive accounting experience. * Understanding of internal control frameworks * Experience with account
