What They're Looking For.
Must Have
understanding of accounting and corporate finance concepts, Experience working with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, SAP, Oracle, or similar, Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivots, Power Query, or financial modelling, Experience working with SQL and relational databases, Experience building reports, dashboards, and forecasting models, analytical and problem-solving skills, Ability to communicate effectively with both Finance and technical teams
Nice to Have
Experience with Power BI or similar BI/reporting platforms, Experience working with APIs or integrating data from multiple systems, Knowledge of financial planning and analysis (FP&A), Exposure to shipping, commodities, trading, or operational finance environments, Basic understanding of data warehousing or ETL concepts
What You'll Do.
Develop and maintain financial reports
and analytical models
Produce reporting relating to areas such as: Cash flow forecasting
Depreciation reporting
Budget vs actual analysis
P&L and balance sheet analysis
Operational and management reporting
Work with Finance and business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and define reporting logic
Collaborate with internal IT and development teams to source and validate data from ERP systems
and other business systems
Build and maintain reporting solutions using tools such as Excel
and integrity of financial data and reporting outputs
Assist in improving reporting automation and reducing manual processes
Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests
