Do you want to be at the center of innovation in consumer electronics? Amazon Lab126 is seeking a Financial Analyst Third Grade to drive financial excellence for FireTV product development. In this unique role, you'll own cost unit economics for an entire product line, serving as the central point for coordinating costs across all line items while supporting one of Amazon's most innovative hardware teams. You'll partner directly with product development teams to deliver financial modeling, variance analysis, and data-driven recommendations that shape product roadmaps and drive cost optimization. With regular interaction with executives and cross-functional teams, you'll influence strategic decisions in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment where your analytical insights directly impact product success. Key job responsibilities - Own cost unit economics and product cost of goods sold (PCOGS) for the entire FireTV product line, serving as the central coordination point for all cost line items across horizontal teams - Build and maintain dynamic financial models to support product and portfolio scenario analysis, delivering data-driven recommendations that influence strategic product decisions - Execute comprehensive financial budgeting, planning, reporting, and variance analysis to ensure accurate forecasting and identify performance gaps - Lead automation initiatives using artificial intelligence and advanced tools to streamline critical financial processes and improve operational efficiency - Partner with cross-functional teams including product development, operations, and executives to identify cost savings opportunities and optimize program budgets A day in the life You'll start your day analyzing PCOGS variance reports, comparing actual costs against forecasts to identify trends and anomalies. Throughout the day, you'll collaborate with FireTV product development teams, consolidating financial data from various business partners and building scenario models
