AWS Applied AI Solutions (AAIS) is on a mission to build delightful AI solutions that enhance human capabilities and drive better business outcomes—empowering startups, SMBs, and enterprises to innovate with Amazon AI teammates. We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Finance Manager to support the AAIS SVP and VP of Finance. This role provides direct exposure to senior leadership and plays a critical role in driving financial insights and operational rigor across the organization. The Finance Manager will own financial reporting, goal management, and the calendaring and rhythm of business (RoB), ensuring alignment, transparency, and execution at the highest levels. As part of the AAIS FP&A team, this role leads core finance processes, including financial close, outlooks, and executive business reviews. The Finance Manager is responsible for delivering accurate and timely reporting, enhancing forecasting mechanisms, and driving continuous improvements that provide clear visibility into business performance. This role partners closely with senior leaders to translate financial data into actionable insights that inform strategic decisions. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, enjoys diving deep into data to identify trends, and thrives in solving complex problems in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to operate independently, influence stakeholders, and consistently deliver results with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
