What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field, 2–4 years of nonprofit grant accounting experience, knowledge of GAAP, grant accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting, Experience with accounting, Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency, analytical, organizational, and communication skills, Ability to manage confidential information with discretion, Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced environments

Nice to Have

Financial Edge experience preferred

What You'll Do.

Manage financial coordination of grants and contracts from award through closeout

Ensure compliance with funder requirements

and internal policies

Prepare and review grant billings

including cost-reimbursement and flat-rate invoices

Perform monthly grant revenue recognition

Monitor grant-related accounts receivable and resolve discrepancies

Develop and maintain budget-to-actual reporting and financial analyses

Coordinate payroll and non-payroll allocations for assigned grants

and compliance monitoring activities

Assist with annual audit preparation and financial reporting

Collaborate with program teams on budgeting

and financial planning

Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced financial controls
