What They're Looking For.
Must Have
A recognized accounting qualification (CPA, MIA, ACCA, ICAEW, or equivalent), 5+ years in accounting or finance Senior or Assistant Manager level, Experience with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) or GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), Analyzed Balance Sheets and P&L statements, Proficiency in advanced Excel, Experience navigating Tier 1 ERP systems (e. g. , Oracle or SAP), Ability to stay grounded and maintain high accuracy during demanding month-end cycles, Experience with professional development
Nice to Have
CFA charterholder preferred, Interest in-or experience with AI and automation to improve workflows and increase efficiency, Flexible to grows in a tech environment, Leaders who enjoy coaching junior colleagues and sharing technical expertise
What You'll Do.
Lead the Month-End Close process
Serve as technical expert for GAAP and SOX
Ensure reporting is accurate through detailed analysis
Partner with Country Controllers
Manage the full closing process
Ensure journal entries and reconciliations are accurate
Resolve accounting issues
Ensure compliance with local laws
Lead local audit support
Provide hands-on support to junior staff
Help navigate complex balance sheet reconciliations
Spot manual bottlenecks in the closing cycle
Automate repetitive tasks
Make workflows smarter
Keep financial records audit-ready
Prepare documentation for auditors
Lend expertise to regional plans
High-level financial analysis
