What They're Looking For.
Must Have
A recognized accounting qualification (CPA, MIA, ACCA, ICAEW, or equivalent), 5+ years in accounting or finance Senior or Assistant Manager level, Experience with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) or GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), Analyzed Balance Sheets and P&L statements, Proficiency in advanced Excel, Experience navigating Tier 1 ERP systems (e. g. , Oracle or SAP), Ability to stay grounded and maintain high accuracy during demanding month-end cycles, Experience with professional development
Nice to Have
CFA charterholder preferred, Interest in-or experience with AI and automation to improve workflows and increase efficiency, Flexible to grows in a tech environment, Leaders who enjoy coaching junior colleagues and sharing technical expertise

Get to Know the Role As an Assistant Manager, lead the Month-End Close (MEC) process and serve as our technical expert for GAAP and SOX standards. Ensure our reporting is accurate through detailed analysis while mentoring junior staff and partnering with Country Controllers to align local results with regional goals. We are looking for an 'optimizer' who is eager to use automation to simplify our workflows. You will report to Manager and will be based onsite at our Jakarta office by us. The Critical Tasks You Will Perform * Month-End Leadership * Manage the full closing process for assigned entities. You will ensure all journal entries and reconciliations are accurate. * Country Controller Partnership * Be an primary contact for Country Controllers.
