What They're Looking For.
Must Have
A recognized accounting qualification (CPA, MIA, ACCA, ICAEW, or equivalent), 5+ years in accounting or finance Senior or Assistant Manager level, Experience with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) or GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), Analyzed Balance Sheets and P&L statements, Proficiency in advanced Excel, Experience navigating Tier 1 ERP systems (e. g. , Oracle or SAP), Experience with professional development

Interest in-or experience with AI and automation to improve workflows and increase efficiency, Flexibility to grow in a tech environment
What You'll Do.
lead the Month-End Close (MEC) process
serve as technical expert for GAAP and SOX standards
ensure reporting is accurate through detailed analysis
partner with Country Controllers to align local results with regional goals
use automation to simplify workflows
Manage the full closing process for assigned entities
ensure all journal entries and reconciliations are accurate
Be an primary contact for Country Controllers
resolve accounting issues
ensure compliance with local laws
lead local audit support
Provide hands-on support to junior staff
help them navigate complex balance sheet reconciliations
ensure everything meets accounting standards (GAAP)
Spot manual bottlenecks in the closing cycle and fix them
use AI tools and ERP features to automate repetitive tasks and make workflows smarter
Keep financial records "audit-ready" and compliant with SOX requirements
prepare documentation for both internal and external auditors
Lend expertise to regional plans
such as system upgrades
or high-level financial analysis
