Full Job Description

We have a newly created opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our finance team. This full-time role will be based from our Staines office and will provide essential support to the finance department, helping ensure smooth financial operations and assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks. The successful candidate will work closely with other finance team members and report directly to the Finance Manager. **Key Responsibilities:** **Updating accounting records including:** * Raising and posting customer invoices to Sage. * Credit control * Posting of month end revenue and cost journals. **Project Support – timesheets:** * To provide day to day project and business support as required. * Raising customer invoices as per contractual terms. **Reporting Requirements:** * Production of monthly management accounts including a revenue report driven by time sheet records and the production of a cost report. * Analysis of the above to identify any unexpected differences. * Production of month end metrics to analyse the businesses underlying performance. **Requirements** * Experience working in a finance support role. * Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Good organizational and time management skills. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively. * Previous experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage 50) is
