What You'll Do.
Owner of the sales ledger function
Responsible for posting incoming and outgoing bank transactions
Reconciles the bank accounts
Provides support with and cover for the Purchase Ledger activities
Supports the team to achieve prompt month end closes
Identifies opportunities for process improvement and automation
Assists the finance team to produce the information required for the annual audit
Provides cover and support across other areas of finance team activities
First point of contact for customers within the finance team
Ensure excellent internal customer service by supporting the rest of the business with queries in a timely manner
Support with other ad-hoc tasks and duties as required

Now part of the Genuit Groups’ Climate Management Solutions (CMS) business unit, Nu-heat has ambitious growth plans. **The Role** The Finance Assistant reports to the Finance Manager and is responsible for a significant part of the transactional finance activities within the finance team, with a focus on sales ledger and bank account transaction processing. This role works closely with finance team colleagues, the sales and customer facing teams as well as with external customers. The individual will actively promote our Trademark Behaviours. **Key Responsibilities** **Sales Ledger** * Owner of the sales ledger function - creates invoices, applies relevant payments, manages customer deposits, issues credit notes and refunds * Releases sales orders promptly to allow internal teams to fulfil sales orders * Reviews and processes returns, including refunds if applicable * Manages Boiler Upgrade Scheme voucher transactions and completes associated reconciliations **Bank account transactions** * Responsible for posting incoming and outgoing bank transactions * Reconciles the bank accounts (multiple currencies) and ensures any unreconciled transactions are dealt with in a timely manner **Purchase Ledger** * Provides support with and cover for the purchase Ledger activities, including processing purchase invoices, resolving queries on invoices and purchase orders and setting up payment runs **Other** * Supports the team to achieve prompt month end closes by ensuring tr
