Then read on.** **About the Role** Ensure Financial Closing and Reporting is completed timely and in accordance with established accounting standard and AIA Group’s policy and requirement for Takaful. _**Roles & Responsibilities**_ * Prepare manual journals for monthly closing; * Responsible for accurate and timely submission of monthly/quarterly/yearly local statutory returns to regulators and other regulatory reporting requirements, including audited financial statements; * Perform review on the variance analysis of the financial results pertaining to reporting to local management and statutory bodies; * Identify and assist to implement initiatives to improve processes and collaborate across departments to ensure that initiatives are incorporated with sound financial controls whilst meeting business requirements; * Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other requirements or on an ad-hoc basis; and * Assist to attend or respond to enquiries/liaison with External Auditors, tax consultants, regulators and other statutory bodies. **_Minimum Job Requirements_** * A recognized Degree in Accounting or Professional Accountancy Qualification, with at least 2 years of relevant working experience. * Computer literate with proficiency in MS Excel and SAP are added advantage.
