What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Working towards a bachelor’s degree in commerce or business Administration (Accounting or Finance major preferred) or similar program, Working towards all necessary prerequisites for admission into the Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA), Professional Education Program (PEP), Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program, Available for a full-time internship beginning September 2026 for at least 8 months, Work out of our new Toronto office (24 Ward Street) at least 4 days per week
Nice to Have
Previous accounting related office experience is an asset
What You'll Do.
Maintain data integrity in our ERP (NetSuite)
Participate in monthly/annual close processes
Perform financial analysis
Support day-to-day operations
Assist with preparation of journal entries
Maintenance of proper supporting documentation
Preparation of financial statements
reports and variance analysis
Perform credit card and bank reconciliations
Review for policy compliance
Maintain finance procedures and related process documents
