What They're Looking For.
Must Have
A degree in Mechatronics or a related field, or equivalent experience, Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the packaging industry, Proficient in PLC programming, setting and parameters, Working knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic controls systems, understanding of integrated material handling systems, Understanding of and ability to read floorplan layouts, electrical schematics, instrumentation diagrams, programming logic schema as well as other technical documentation, Proficient in structured troubleshooting techniques, Customer-centric focus, Excellent customer and interpersonal skills, high degree of judgement, independence, discretion, diplomacy and emotional intelligence, Ability to thrive in a team environment, think independently, be decisive, contribute to the collective success of the project, Experience in understanding and modifying PLC Programming, Basic computer skills including Microsoft office suite, Must possess a valid driver’s license, passport, ability to travel on short notice
Nice to Have
Basic CAD knowledge, Ability to speak Spanish, Ability to speak Dutch
What You'll Do.
Troubleshoot and perform repairs on equipment
Assist in installation
Analyze and resolve faults or malfunctions
Provide insight on safety and proper operation
Build and maintain customer relationships
Act as liaison between customers and internal departments
Perform administrative tasks
Provide remote and onsite technical support
Communicate material changes to internal departments
Provide updates to technical documentation
Ensure projects are executed within quoted time
Comply with safety regulations
Operate machines through startup
Commissioning and validation
Train customer personnel in operation
Repair worn or defective machinery

Work closely with end-use customers; internal Sales, Customer Service, Engineering and Manufacturing team members; Act as liaison between customers as well as internal departments; contribute to the collective success of the project; interact with others in a like and professional manner
