Work is to be performed outdoors at various job sites, Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures, PPE personal protective equipment is required, Must have the ability to travel, Must work on-call during off-shift hours and weekends, Must be able to sit, stoop, kneel, bend, stand, or walk for 8-10 hours a day, Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Familiarity with electrical systems and components, Proficiency in using power tools for repair tasks, Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately, Proficiency with MS Office suite, Ability to take direction and complete tasks with minimal oversight, Valid Driver’s License, Working knowledge and experience operating under OSHA 1910, NFPA 70E, and 70B, OSHA 10 General Industry certificate, Ability to travel, Ability to work on-call during off-shift hours and weekends, Ability to sit, stoop, kneel, bend, stand, or walk for 8-10 hours a day, Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
Nice to Have
Knowledge of the NEC code, Knowledge of electrical theory, Knowledge of industry best practices
What You'll Do.
productive repairs and maintenance of Commercial and Utility Scale Solar PV plants
Performing preventative maintenance and inspections
Troubleshooting and making repairs to maximize production
Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on solar modules
Conducting routine preventive maintenance
troubleshooting and repair of solar photovoltaic facilities
Interpreting schematics to understand system layouts and connections
Maintaining a schedule for routine maintenance
trouble shooting and repair of equipment at solar photovoltaic facilities
Maintaining company property such as vehicle
meters and plant stock
Maintaining service reports
inspection documentation
and spare parts inventory
Providing maintenance and troubleshooting training to technicians and others as needed
Identifying safety hazards and taking appropriate action to remove or eliminate hazards
