What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum of four years’ experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance, understanding of hydraulic systems and electrical components (AC/DC), Ability to read and comprehend technical documentation and schematics, Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, Must possess communication and customer service skills, Physical ability to lift, climb, and work in various weather conditions, Willingness to work overtime, including weekends, as business needs require, Must provide own basic, A valid driver's license and clean driving record are essential for this role, Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check to ensure insurability on company vehicles
Nice to Have
Welding and rigging experience is a plus, Hands-on experience with various types of heavy machinery (e. g. , cranes, hydraulic winches) preferred
What You'll Do.
Conduct thorough diagnostics to identify issues within heavy equipment
Perform repairs and replace parts as necessary to ensure optimal performance
Execute preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan
Utilize electronic diagnostic tools for precision repairs
Interpret technical manuals
and blueprints to guide repairs
Maintain accurate repair logs and documentation of maintenance activities
