Must Have
Ability to pass a field service medical assessment, Complete Certified to Operate training and development, Mechanically minded engineer, Ability to read blueprints, schematics, diagrams and technical manuals, Hold a valid driver’s license, Willingness to work away from home during the week as required
Nice to Have
Knowledge of electrical and/or control systems, Knowledge of Rolls-Royce Marine Gas Turbine products and systems such as MT30 and WR-21, Demonstrated industry knowledge
What You'll Do.
Delivering an array of technical advice and field service tasks in support of both ship commissioning and in service maintenance
Providing support to Rolls-Royce Naval Gas Turbine equipment commissioning
Collaborating with the ship builder to minimise disruption and ensure delivery
Supporting regularly schedule maintenance periods
Ensuring field engineering tasks are delivered
Liaising with the customer at multiple levels within HHI and the RoKN
Support FFX commissioning work of Rolls-Royce marine gas turbine equipment in accordance with the technical documentation
Supporting routine MR&O (e.g. Borescope inspections) when required
Collaboration with the team of Rolls-Royce FSRs in South Korea to co-ordinate and deliver customer contracted commissioning or operational support services in the field
Review engineering changes and their effect on the products in the field
including maintenance manual updates

## **Job Description** Defence deployed services are currently going through a period of growth as our customers fleets increase in size and support requirements to keep them operating safely expand. Rolls-Royce Field Service Representatives (FSRs) work in deployed environments, both dockside and onboard, delivering an array of technical advice and field service tasks in support of both ship commissioning and in service maintenance, repair and overhaul. This role is based at the Rolls-Royce Busan office in South Korea, whilst the individual will travel to various Naval dockyards and customer locations in country to support the FFX frigate programme. The ability and desire to work at various locations, either as a standalone Field Service Representative or as part of a multi-disciplinary team is a key requirement. You will primarily be responsible for providing support to Rolls-Royce Naval Gas Turbine equipment commissioning as part of the FFX frigate build schedule, collaborating with the ship builder to minimise disruption and ensure delivery. However as the fleet matures and begins operations at sea there will be a growing requirement to support regularly schedule maintenance periods.
