What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Associates level in electrical power distribution or related field, Demonstrated experience working with electrical power distribution systems, Demonstrated experience working with power monitoring systems, Demonstrated experience working with AC/DC electrical power, Demonstrated experience with the use of communication protocols, Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, Ability to use test equipment, to include multimeters, current meters, and related devices
Nice to Have
5+ years of similar work experience in a related field, Military experience is preferred, Data Center or equivalent mission critical system experience preferred, Three to five years’ experience in the design of low voltage switchgear assemblies/systems, Three to five years’ experience in the design of power distribution equipment, Knowledge and understanding of UL Standards, such as UL67 Panelboards, UL1008 Transfer Switch Equipment, UL10008S Static Transfer Switches, UL60950 Information Technology Equipment, UL 891 Switchboards, UL 1558 Metal‐Enclosed Low‐Voltage Power Circuit Breaker Switchgear as applicable, as well as other pertinent standards
What You'll Do.
Provide installation supervision
and repair work for low voltage distribution gear
and related power distribution equipment
Prepares technical reports/test sheets
monitoring of spare parts
Maintain and follow safety regulations
Attend all appropriate site meetings
Provide excellent customer service to clients
Communicate on a regular basis with Project Managers receiving and relaying information
