Experience in the food industry and familiarity with sorting technologies, Excellent communication skills in Afrikaans is a plus, Other languages would be welcome, candidates already based in the Upington or Johannesburg region, or those who are willing to relocate there

Join our dynamic team at TOMRA Food as a Field Service Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our cutting-edge food sorting systems. We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to take on the challenge of providing top-notch customer service, encompassing commissioning, operation, testing, integration, optimisation, maintenance, training, and repair activities. Reporting to our Team leader, you'll be an integral part of our field service team. You'll be responsible for promptly responding to equipment and customer issues both on-site and remotely. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering detailed field reports following each installation or technical intervention, while also conducting training sessions for our customers' maintenance and service staff. ## Qualifications About You: * Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrotechnical, Automation, Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent experience. * Proven experience in on-site preventive and corrective maintenance, supporting industrial customers. * Experience in the food industry and familiarity with sorting technologies will be considered a strong advantage. * Good understanding of IT, networking, and PC configuration. * A valid driver’s license and act
