Reporting to the Engineering Manager, Roche Diagnostics Australia is looking for a Field Service Engineer, ideally with specific experience working with Mass Spectrometry. As a Field Service Engineer, you are responsible to perform the field service activities for all our Diagnostics portfolios with a primary focus on Mass Spectrometry, by provision and coordination of all activities relating to instrument installation, instrument preventative maintenance, instrument troubleshooting, software and hardware modifications, relating to both pre, during, and post sales requirements. Service will need to be performed locally, interstate, and including travel overseas to support Roche Diagnostics New Zealand when needed. This service is provided on the basis of hours of employment typically being from 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. In addition, you will be asked to participate in an on-call roster to cover the out of hours’ service requirements from 5 pm to 9 am Monday to Friday and 24 hours Saturday and Sunday. Field Service Engineers are required to actively collaborate with the local account management teams and to participate in local and national team meetings.
