What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5 years of construction site safety experience, National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) or Canadian Registered Safety Technician (CRST) Certification, Experience with Microsoft office applications, Proven experience dealing with client requirements and providing administrative assistance with matters relating to safety, Have and maintain a valid driver's license and provide a driver's abstract (a record) for review
Nice to Have
Demonstrated experience supporting electrical construction projects, CRSP (Canadian Registered Safety Professional) certification, Demonstrated familiarity with applicable provincial legislations, Root cause investigation experience
What You'll Do.
Be a visible presence and safety resource
coach and assist field staff
Participate in incident investigation
Review tailboards daily
emergency preparedness drills
Facilitate weekly safety meetings
Provide support to ensure JSAs are developed
Apply and reinforce Health
Safety and Environmental Manual
Review and be familiar with legislation

Team & Collaboration
Support supervisors, foremen and workers; Participate in meetings with project safety teams; Communicate findings via safety meetings and postings
