Must Have
Journeyperson Electrician Certification, 5 years of experience as Electrician, 2 years of experience in substation environments, Understanding of substation construction, Understanding of substation commissioning, Understanding of substation testing, Understanding of substation quality control practices, Knowledge of Electrical Utility Code, Knowledge of Safety Codes Act, Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety regulations, Ability to read construction drawings, Ability to read electrical schematics, Ability to read technical specifications, Experience performing inspections, Experience performing quality audits, Experience performing documentation reviews, Ability to meet pre-access Drug & Alcohol testing requirements, Comfortable working at heights, Comfortable working in proximity to energized electrical equipment, Willingness to travel, Ability to work out of town, Ability to work at remote project sites, Ability to work in adverse weather, Ability to work in varying site conditions
Nice to Have
Project document management experience, Knowledge of high-voltage electrical systems, Knowledge of utility infrastructure, Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Experience with Microsoft Windows, Experience with computer-based testing equipment, Experience with Bluebeam software

Operate construction equipment
