What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Deep experience in farming or a career spent in ag-equipment and technology, Experience troubleshooting both hardware (mechanical/electrical) and software (connectivity/autonomous systems), CDL required (Class A), Willingness to travel 75%+ across the Midwest, Canada, and Pacific Northwest, Ability to drive, pull, and operate heavy equipment, Mechanical aptitude to fix things when they break in remote locations, Direct communication skills that translate complex field observations into clear technical feedback, Ability to work independently with little direction, Ability to lift 50+ pounds on a daily basis
Nice to Have
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience, Welding certification and/or experience, Familiarity with autonomous systems, GPS/GNSS, or Starlink integration

Full Job Description
TerraClear applies artificial intelligence, robotics, and world-class mechanical design to solve some of the most data deficient and labor intensive jobs on the farm. These technologies are rapidly transforming agricultural intelligence, allowing farmers to make faster and more informed decisions that translate into highly precise actions and more productive farms. Our first application solved one of the most disliked tasks on the farm: clearing rocks. The annual emergence of news rocks impacts nearly half of farms in North America, slowing farming, damaging equipment, and causing downtime during seeding and harvesting. Solving this problem frees farmers to focus on higher-value tasks and brings their operations into a new era of farming. Leveraging our commercial success in rocks, we are now expanding our core technologies to new farm applications including the precise management of weeds, pests, disease and overall plant health. We are seeking a Field Product Testing Lead to manage the field validation and operational execution of TerraScout. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between prototype and product, ensuring our designs are field-tested and ready for market. Beyond the technical, you’ll serve as a brand ambassador, demonstrating TerraScout’s end-to-end capabilities to customers and strategic partners.
