What They're Looking For.
Must Have
1 - 2 years of experience in an office clerical or customer service capacity required, Experience working in a customer-focused and fast-paced professional environment required, Working knowledge of office equipment including computers, calculators, copiers, printers, and fax machines at a level consistent with experience, Basic mathematics skills required, Good verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills and detail oriented, High level of compassion and integrity, Ability to maintain confidentiality
Nice to Have
MS Office Suite experience preferred
What You'll Do.
Prepares death certificates
prayer cards and related documents
Completes required permits and or certificates
Prepares and processes Veteran’s Paperwork
Prepares marker monument placement paperwork
Ensures required documentation accuracy and compliance
Prepares and distributes daily schedules
Receives and processes payments and contracts
Coordinates ordering of memorials and inventory control
Orders office supplies
Oversees processing of installation orders
Processes accounts payable transactions
Assists with preparation of obituaries
Assists Location Management
Family Service Counselors and payroll
Acts as backup to Receptionist
Greets family members and friends
Communicates client family’s needs promptly and accurately
Conveys sense of concern and empathy
Responds to customer inquiries
Maintains professional and cooperative relationships
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Assists Location Management, Sales, Family Service Counselors and payroll as needed; Communicates client family’s needs promptly and accurately to the appropriate staff member; Maintains professional and cooperative relationships with county clerk, medical examiner and physicians
Communication Scope
Good verbal and written communication skills; Communicates client family’s needs promptly and accurately; Responds to customer inquiries via telephone, internet and in person
