The Brief

“Field Operations Support Assistant (part-time). Skills: office clerical, customer service, MS Office Suite. Prepare death certificates, prayer cards and related documents. Complete required permits and or certificates”

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

1 - 2 years of experience in an office clerical or customer service capacity required, Experience working in a customer-focused and fast-paced professional environment required, Working knowledge of office equipment including computers, calculators, copiers, printers, and fax machines at a level consistent with experience, Basic mathematics skills required, Good verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills and detail oriented, High level of compassion and integrity, Ability to maintain confidentiality

Nice to Have

MS Office Suite experience preferred

What You'll Do.

Prepare death certificates

prayer cards and related documents

Complete required permits and or certificates

Prepare and process Veteran’s Paperwork

Prepare marker monument placement paperwork

Ensure required documentation accuracy and compliance

Prepare and distribute daily schedules

Receive and process payments and contracts

Coordinate ordering of memorials and inventory control

Order office supplies

Oversee processing of installation orders

Process accounts payable transactions

Assist with preparation of obituies

Assist Location Management

Family Service Counselors and payroll

Act as backup to Receptionist

Greet family members and friends

Communicate client family’s needs promptly and accurately

Convey a sense of concern and empathy

Respond to customer inquiries via telephone

internet and in person

Maintain professional and cooperative relationships with county clerk

medical examiner and physicians

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Assist Location Management, Sales, Family Service Counselors and payroll as needed; Maintain professional and cooperative relationships with county clerk, medical examiner and physicians

Communication Scope

Good verbal and written communication skills; Convey a sense of concern and empathy with client family members at all times; Respond to customer inquiries via telephone, internet and in person
