What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, 7-10 years of experience in event management, Proven track record of planning and executing experiential activations, corporate receptions, special events, and large conferences for 200 - 500 attendees, Ability to travel for 3-4 days aligned to dates of the events, project management skills, including managing multiple complex workstreams simultaneously, Exceptional organizational and logistical skills, with a keen attention to detail, Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of influencing and guiding cross-functional teams, ability to manage high-pressure situations and deliver on tight deadlines, Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives, vendors, and key stakeholders
Nice to Have
Texas and/or Austin, TX applicants, Previous tech experience: Cisco, Meta, Google, Apple, Microsoft, Product Marketing, Familiarity with Webex collaboration tools
What You'll Do.
Lead final planning and execution of large-scale events
Ensure seamless delivery and high-impact experiences
Maintain operational excellence across key client engagements
Coordinate and execute event workstreams for Product Launch events
Oversee coordination and execution of AMER events
Develop and implement comprehensive event strategy
Own the entire event lifecycle
Oversee creation and development of AMER events
and marketing activations
Manage event staffing
and implement audience engagement strategies
Serve as primary liaison between internal teams & external vendors
Oversee logistics for venue selection
run of show/attendee experience
and on-site execution
Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs)
Conduct post-event reporting
Drive continuous innovation in event experiences
Coordinate experiential activations and special events
Ensure attendee journey is cohesive
Partner with creative marketing team to develop event signage
and other creative assets
Oversee distribution of event swag
Manage event staff uniform coordination and distribution
Take ownership of daily project operations
Lead weekly status meetings with event workstream leads
Contribute to developing overall event production schedule
Oversee all workstream timelines
Prepare and maintain WebexOne master deck
Facilitate collaboration between event teams
Act as point of contact for all workstream leads
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership; Interact closely with itD's Communities of Practice (CoP); Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders; Collaborate with key Marketing, Sales, Product, and Executive stakeholders; Lead cross-functional teams through all phases of event planning; Facilitate collaboration between event teams; Ensure alignment across teams and stakeholders
