Mechanical Engineering, Materials, Welding qualifications, vocational training, experience, Broad knowledge and wide understanding of the Engineering Construction industry, materials, trades methods, legal requirements, writing diaries which are accurate, concise and with relevance to the particular form of contract, working within a large construction team, Good attention to detail when checking work and materials, maintain quality standards in a high-pressure environment, establish appropriate working relationships with the contractors, Working knowledge of relevant British & European standards, construction and design codes/guidelines such as RCC-M, BS EN, ASME

Deliver Team Lead duties
Meet HPC Quality needs
Advocate Nuclear Safety Culture
Embed safety approach
Perform surveillance on Works Contractors
Report to Construction Superintendent
Input into site wide management issues
Liaise with other operational members
Adhere to company policies
Suggest policy enhancements
Check Works are constructed
Notify non-conformance requirements
Submit non-conformance details
Issue non-conformance reports
Communicate with other site teams
Maintain good communication links
Ensure surveillance is timely reported
Contribute surveillance information
Identify potential Quality issues
Enable mitigating actions
Support team instructions
Take temporary measures
Mitigate and keep works safe
